ya ,this has been given in this thread.
Here is a step-by-step guide to install Colibri-library.

    1.Create checkout for Colibri SVN.
2.Open Qt Creator and start a new project by importing library root directory to a new project.
3.Create a new QML file and add an import for "colibri" in the beginning of that QML file.

i didnt understand the first point.

you would need to install SVN client to your machine, and then use the SVN client to fetch the source codes from the SVN repository of the project.

I can not remember any good sites, but you could google and see what would be available. I have used tortoise for my SVN needs, but indeed some people might prefer to use other clients. thus google a bit, and see what you can find, and then pick one that satisfies your needs best.

In qt creator i selected the file->newfile or project->project from version control->subversion checkout
and a dialog pops up asking repository location so i entered as https://projects.forum.nokia.com/svn/colibri [projects.forum.nokia.com], but i got this message which i have pasted below
    Executing in E:\colibri: svn.exe checkout https://projects.forum.nokia.com/svn/colibri colibri
Unable to start svn.exe: Process failed to start: No such file or directory

Ok, Tortoise does not really work on commandline, thus for that purpose you would need to get another clients (just google to see which one is working best on commandline), or simply use the tortoise from filemanager.

Qt Creator itself does not include SVN, GIT or merchury, it merele uses any command line client that would be installed into teh system, thus even if you would want to utilize the options provided by the Qt Creator, you would still need to install the client separately. And as it requires the client to have command line interface, you need to select the client that would be supported by the Qt Creator. Or utilize the client in a way that the client itself was designed to be used.

I have not tested them, thus would not know excat problems on their appearance, anyway, you could see whether they have any discussions on teh project discussion board on the issues.

Hello SymbianYucca, I did the checkout of the colibri project but I do not understand the second step to have it integrated in a project
"2.Open Qt Creator and start a new project by importing library root directory to a new project."
I am using Qt Creator 2.5
    Could you help me?
