The application cannot connect to the network successfully？？

Hi, I developed a rss application which works well on 6700c, however, when I submitted it to NOKIA QA, the result is failure just like below

Failed QA, with the following issue:

SUMMARY: The application cannot connect to the network.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Download and install the application.
2. Launch the application.
3. Select ’Information'.
4. Select 'Platform for the exchange of information'.
5. Check page.
ACTURAL RESULT: The application cannot connect to the network successfully as an message 'Please wait ... are connected to the server ...' is displayed.
EXPECTED RESULT: Features and controls in the content item must function as specified.
AFFECTED DEVICES: S40 5th Edition (Nokia 6267 Firmware: V 03.25).
FREQUENCY REPRODUCED: 100%.

I have no idea to solve this problem, can anyone give some advices? Thanks!

You may consider testing your application on more devices. Note that there is a completely free Remote Device Access offering in the "Devices" panel above. Although the particular devices you have mentioned do not seem to be on the service now, testing with various other devices will certainly show if this issue is a regular one or not.

Thanks for your reply. Do you know some possible reasons to lead "The application cannot connect to the network successfully"?Or maybe the problem in getting http connection?

Hi,

If you are connecting to the network through GPRS, the possible problems could be :
1)The access point through which the application connects to network.
2)The network response format support by the target device.

Thanks for your reply~ I have tried two different ways(net & wap) to connect network, it works on my device but failed QA. Do you know the access point of NOKIA QA? And on simulator or real device, while testing the application by QA?

Access point is specific to individual operators and these settings has to be made seperately for accessing wap and accessing applications(Check the application settings under settings option)for some of the devices.
