Nokia N950 doesn't boot any more :(

Dear all,

I've received the N9 Dev Kit (Nokia N950). After sometime of usage device unexpectedly switched off and doesn't want to start again. Any one knows where I have to contact for information about flashing of the device? It's a really depressing, because I just started to port my apps to MeeGo ((( Thank you very much in advance

when you connect it to usb to PC is it respond somehow like charging?
try to press power button and hold >10 seconds. Then release, wait 5-10 sec and try switch on again.

Device was recognized by computer (Windows makes noise when new device connected). But when I tried to power it on only logo Nokia appears and after few sec. device again off.

yes, you are right, I completely forgot about this option.
Actually you can get to this "not booting" situation after you play with Settings -> Reset -> Clear device. And OneClickFlashers will solve the problem.

I had also flashed my n950 few days back from the link given in the previous post. You are just required to run the oneclick flasher and it is done.

Flasher not working for me. My Lenovo W500 Windows XP laptop not finding the N950 (or the N9 for that matter), even with latest Nokia Suite. MADDE installed, no help.

Can it be related to some driver not installed in the windows xp i faced the same issue in one of my old win xp machines and the problem was drivers were not installed properly.

That seems to be the case as I got it to work on a Windows 7 workstation. Odd part is, though, that I installed the drivers on the XP laptop...

Also for N9 it turns out I needed the Nokia Suite 3.5 beta. Got it now.

Hi Friends,

I have a strange problem with my N950 , it was working fine two weeks back, and today when I tried to switched it on its not booting up. I tried to put the power cable but not response, also when I connect the device to the laptop with the USB there is not sound of device detection. I tried to perform OneClickFlashers but the device is not recognizing when the terminal ask to connect the device. I don't see the Nokia logo either. Also I remember the device was fully charged.

The only thing that I can see is when ever I put the power cable or connect the device to the laptop with the USB the light on the top-right corner of the device blinks just for once.
