Hello everyone,

I am Peter Fabian from Ottawa, really interested in mobile application development. Which platform will be best to start with? I have basic knowledge of OOP. Please also suggest me the SDK and another tools.

A couple things you may want to decide first are
- if you wish to develop for a given device model (like Nokia N8, Nokia Lumia 800, Nokia Asha 303, etc.)
- if you are planning to develop using a given language (like Java, C++, C#)
You can find some introductory readings about the available platforms in the Develop "menu" above. The actual SDK-s are downloadable from Resources, but there are many of them, so it really matters if you have specific needs.
