Conflicting application error

Hi

I have an application which registered to push-registry for in coming message on port 50001

App is very much stable and works in many phones. I had installed it in my 2690 phone around 20 times.

Every time I tried installing new one, i got conflicting application and I used to delete older version and install the new.

Now my mobile doesn't have that application (I have removed) and I am trying install it but i am getting "Conflicting Application Show details?" with yes or no options.

If I choose "Yes" set is getting restarted and choosing "No" simply exits installation. Finally my application is not getting installed.

Now I am trying to install the version that was working fine on this set. I have tried doing factory settings, restarting phone.

Please help me to install my app as used to do before.

Welcome to Forum Nokia Discussion Board !!

The conflict might be happing with other applications . Which have used the same push registry number as you i.e. 50001 . Try any other port number like in the range 16001 - 16999 and build the application and try .

If I choose "Yes" it shows just name of that application and choosing "No" simply exits. Finally my application is not opening.

initially no. of applications were running fine with any port .... but after 40-50 times of installing and deleting (during testing) it started giving me this error and then after reseting to

factory default it worked fine but now all in vain.......i cannot install appl. just single time

Change the port # or try to upgrade the device firmware & try factory reset again....
