Orientation is not happening on nokia 311

Hello All,
M creating video player for asha series,
& I want to play video on landscape mode,
I used 'Nokia-MIDlet-App-Orientation: landscape' in app descriptor..
it rotates my complete app on ASHA-311, but still video appears in portrait mode...
what to do??

Most phones have "bugs" related to the display.
Specify which API you're using.
Your application is fixed in landscape or you're trying change the orientation during application execution ?

application is fixed in landscape,
API's for what?
Its simple video player, jsr-135 mmaip.
