sound effects in 7650

hey guys,

I'm developing a game in 7650, it is progressing very well, but i am a programmer and my two other teammates are graphic artists, just wondering how you guys put sound effects into a game while it doesn't support MMAPI? I want some booms and bangs (explosion sounds), is it possible?
