Image Compression in J2me and Decompression in PHP

Hi,

I am trying to develop an application which compresses large image file and send it to server, where php script on server decompress that image file. There are few libraries i have came across while searching such as:

but have no idea how to implement them. also i have not found any decompression script on server side.

Most image file formats are compressed already, just send them in the form as they are.

If you are capturing the image in J2me from camera - use jpeg or png encoding - its already compressed format and send the file to server..

Most file formats once compressed cannot be recovered to their original format looseness. Which file format do you use? Many are compressed already, looseness compression algorithms are worse than that.
