    Hi all,

Just interested to know if there exists a tool (sis/sisx file) which could test an app if it is compliant to symbian signed test criteria.

Mine is a voip app and i have to submit it for CERTIFIED SIGNING.

As of now i am following http://www.developer.nokia.com/Commu..._Test_Criteria to test the app manually against the symbian signed criteria.

    Let me know.

    Thanks,
    Raj

there are no automated tools available, thus you would need to manually test it.

Can an application having MultimediaDD capability not be signed with a developer certificate?

Yes it can, provided that the developer certificate has the capability included. For example Nokia Store developer certificates do not. Also please do ask unrelated followup questions in separate threads.

Maybe you want to check the table on http://www.developer.nokia.com/Commu...ymbian_Signed) - for completing Jukka's comment in #4: Nokia Store provides an equivalent to Express signed service.
(side note: on certain screens it might be difficult to see the breaks in the table, the upper, "Yes" part is some light pink, and the bottom is white, but if you select the contents, or just press Ctrl+A, they become quite visible)
