How to access GPS from Nokia 5130 Xprssmusic?

I have Downloaded one GPS app for my Nokia 5130 xpresmusic. But when i run the app; at staring, app shows one message that is, "No selected GPS receiver" and when I go to connect to GPS receiver manually, app automatically starts Bluetooth and again shows previous message.

I am not getting what should I do now?????

Your Nokia mobile don't have inbuilt GPS receiver .To use the GPS app it required an external GPS receiver with bluetooth facility. Your GPS app is perfectly working at this point.If a mobile inbuilt GPS receiver is not present if user want to use app it required a external GPS receiver .

How can I trace external GPS receiver.... What setting should i do..... app automatically start Bluetooth n search for receiver... but doesn't get receiver.... So how should I solve this problem....

Do you have a receiver ?

Buy a GPS receiver from shop .This problem is very common. The technology behind is "if a mobile does not inbuilt GPS it will look up an external GPS receiver which you have to provide and then it will capture positioning and feed to app program". Other choice is buy a model which inbuilt GPS is present and app will work without external GPS.

@randi555, can you pls explain how you can retrieve GPS coordinates using GPRS ? Is it your assumption or known technique ?

Nokia 5130 Doesnt have an inbuilt GPS. The Downloaded application by you might be a bug. Dont use it. instead use google maps
