Nokia Maps Api and preinstall Map in C5

Hello, I created application that uses Nokia Maps API. Hence my question. Is there a way where we do not have access to the internet, on the basis of our location to view a map of our position using installed in device Nokia Ovi Maps? I hope you understand what I mean.

Is it possible to somehow connect the Nokia Maps API with Nokia Ovi Maps?

Basically, if the API would use off-line maps stored in the device, it would do it automatically, and if it is not able to do so, then there is nothing that could be done from developers point of view to change the behavior.
