NFC - Call Forwarding

Where to start with call forwarding by means of NFC tags, any ideas?

that won't be possible on WP since you can't control a call from an app, so obviously you won't be able to share it/forward it using nfc.

Based on some searches my impression is that the topic is more about configuring call forwarding via NFC. Like disabling it when you are on the go, and configuring it to your home or office phone when you arrive. All via touching tags instead of digging into the settings/constructing magical USSD codes.
Just I have no idea if there is an API for call forward settings, and my first guess would be a 'no' in fact.

As far as I know rhere is no way to configure call forwarding programatically on WP, so it would not be possible using NFC tags or any other means.

Basically you can go by this metric: if it involves changing system settings Windows Phone won't allow an App to do it on it's own. The best you can do is to launch a Task that will take the user to the according settings page to do that himself. For some functionalities there is no such Task.
