I've been all over this forum and the web looking for a solution to an not uncommon problem.
Problem:
I have a Nokia 6210 connected to a Win98 PC with a DLR-3P cable, but the connection manager could not find the phone. I kept getting No Phone Connected.
Solution:
I reset the phone by removing the battery and then tried Connection Manager again and it found the phone.
The usnet groups at google was great for help

I'm using pcsuite 4.06, nt4 and a not-original dlr-3P cable and I also have this problem. I tried your suggestion to remove the battery and try again... but no success... i've also tried both com ports, but still no success...
Any other suggestions?
I have the similar problem with 6070, connected with a CA-42 cable. The interesting part is, it works well with PC Suite 7.0.2.0 but not with PC connectivity solution(On API's Home page it is mention "Nokia PC Suite 6.84 or later, or Nokia PC Connectivity Solution and Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver" will do the work). Anybody have a answer for "Why?".
