IrDA for Nokia Developer's Suit for J2ME

Does Nokia Developer's Suit have any API for IrDA connection?

Is is possible to write an application (to be run in Nokia 6610 phone) that just send data out through its Infrared-Red Port?
If yes, how should I go about? Thanks...

Hi,

At the moment Nokia does not provide emulator/SDKs nor phone models that support J2ME APIs for IrDA connection.

And how about the phone's serial port? Can a Java midlet communicate using the DLR-3 serial cable? I can imagine to get position (NMEA sentences) from a GPS.
