Has anyone found a reliable way to get the Audio Converter (Nokia Developer's Suite) working without needing JBuilder or the Sun ONE Mobile Edition?

Currently, I can select a MIDI file, but all my options are greyed out...

I'm using a Windows 2000 machine purely to convert sounds.
If I MUST use JBuilder or Sun ONE ME, what's the ideal installation order?

I have tried everything I can think of to get that converter to work. I have emailed Nokia tech support, no response. I guess they don't want midi in the java apps.

Im using Nokia developer suite 2.0 for converting midi file into byte format which supported in Nokia UI API. I think if u try the "standalone" tool ,i think it is more convinient than the JBuilder .
try it out to c whether it can help u or not.

How did you get it to work? I run the stand alone tool 1.1 and 2.0 open a midi file. And nothing happens.

I have tried it on Win2000 and WinXP with jre 1.3.1 and 1.4.1

Any info on how you got it to work would be great.
