Requirements to set up mobile video streaming

Hi there. I would like to know what is required for mobile video streaming. Besides tools to render the video for the correct mobile format, do I need to set up a streaming server or can it be handled by the mobile operator (if they have the service)?

A streaming server is needed to provide steaming service to mobile phone. You can host contents on your own streaming server or on a operator streaming server.

You need to check with operator if its firewall is open for streaming portocol if you host the streaming server.
