Dangerouse memoryleak problem with midlet in 7650/3650. Any Help??

By chance I came ove a strange memory problem with a midlet in an 7650.
A customers phone suddenly freezed because it run out of memory, although nothing was on the phone (no photos games etc..)except our small midlet. Same happend with his new phone, a 3650. With an memory monitor I found out that whenever our midlet is closed the used memory pile increases by around 22 KB, and can´t be freed again. I found out, that quite a few 7650/3650 owner seems to have this problem too(who by the way don´t use our app.)
Is such a memoryleak possible with an midlet?
In other word is it our dump mistake or is it a nokia thing?
Maybe somebody from nokia, who can help?

Which memory monitor did you use and in which way?

I used the memory tag in tool/programManager as well as the memory monitor from NewLC.
Any help greatly appriciated...
I tried it with record store and without, with graphics and without, with sounds and without....
