As i hear the series 40 and 60 emulator are different speeds then the original phones , is there anyway i can tweak the emulator so i can change the speeds , or get documentation on what the speeds are?

It is true, but mostly, IMHO, in video system

I'm having the same problem.
My midlet works fine on a s30 and s40 ; but now I'm porting it to s60 and it runs very slow in the epoc emulator ?
Should the millis_per_tick be adjusted for s60 ?
