6100 it wont work

im trying to create a site in xhtml, well to make it easy i tried with one of the examples from the dev kit i downloaded from here. put it on my apache server witch works fine with wml sites and tried to connect with my phone and all the time i get unknown filetype or something. doesnt the 6100 model support xhtml pages if not why can i see animated gifs in color in some other pages. i´ve just started out and i cant really get the hang of this please help me out. also where can i found the code(tags) of xhtml mp.

There is no XHTML support in the Nokia 6100. To check which Nokia terminals are supporting XHTML please see:
