File Format Unknown (OTA)

Hi All,

I have been trying to load my application over the air. When I see the .JAD file and ask "Open link", a message comesup saying file format unknown. The same message comes up again when I try with .JAR file.

I have been able to load the same .JAD and .JAR through IR (using Nokia's SDK). And the application is functional. But, I cant load over the air. The JAD file is 4.87 KB (works while IRed) and JAR file is 59 KB.

Any ideas? Suggestions? Have anyone encountered similar problems?

It sounds like your server MIME types are set incorrectly.

jad should be type
text/vnd.sun.j2me-app-descriptor

and .jar should be
application/java-archive

Are the JAD file size limitations any different for OTA? I can use the same file by doing IR, but, when I try OTA, I get a message 'File Size too large".
