WTAI Phone Book store/retrieve functions

Can anyone confirm definititvely my understanding gleaned from this site and elsewhere?

It is my understanding that Nokia phones (other than those supporting SyncML) only allow adding of phone book entries through the WTAI but have no capability for accessing and retrieving phone book entries through WTAI, or any other mechanism other than SyncML.

Is this a correct understanding on my part?

I'd at least have expected someone from Nokia to reply to this post.

Although it would be in line with the stunning lack of information about their products which I'm used to.
