OTA transfer

For devices that do not have Infra Red/Bluetooth/Data Cable, the ONLY way to transfer applications is through OTA.

How true is the above statement?

Is it also true that OTA transfer works for ALL devices.

Thanks Chandu...just tested the OTA transfer using a WAP gateway. It works fine, just that I lost connection to the gateway 6 times before I manage to get my 46KB app.

What factors actually influences the tranfer rate? E.g. weather? traffic? user's device? user's location?

I think basically...Which affects the signals will contribute in this regard
