Streaming Server Supported by J2ME

I'm developing Application using J2ME MMAPI for Video. I can download the media and play successfully. Now I am targetting for Streaming..

Can any one tell me, what are all the STREAMING SERVER that J2ME Supports?

i am also developing one application for video. i can play this video file in default emulator only.but whenever i will play on nokia emulator or nokia real mobile is not playing,it will thrown " MediaException "

can u tell me the video format MIME type for nokia.

this is very important to my project.

I am having problem in LIVE Streaming of Video in my Application. I am using HTTP connection for receiving the Video .3GP/MP4 file from the Server. When i am receiving the full data and then playing in the Player it is working fine but there is a pause/delay during downloading.This i want to avoid.I want to receive some portion of InputStream say,35000/71000 bytes and play it first.Till it gets completed we will download the second chunk and play as soon as the 1st chunks gets completed.


But when i am splitting the Inputdata size to say half of it. and trying to play.I am getting "prefetch error -6".


Can anyone help me out?

I am using Nokia E72. I am getting this error in s60 Nokia Simulator.

You need to have the 3gp merger and then only you can play the 3gpp recorded file, else this is not possible to play. However this is quite hard to merge the chunks of 3gpp using the merger software for mobiles.

I am playing streaming video using RTSP. It is working fine.
I am pausing and resuming the video using getMediaTime() and setMediaTime() functions. It is also working but after pause when I play again It starts playing after 2-3 seconds.
How can I reduce this time?


Can anyone help me out ?
