    Hi there,

as I saw, while installing downloaded programs (.sis for Nokia Series60 devices), there must be a mechanism to display "Installation -notes". If you chose to install a program, this note will be displayed before the installation is complete. It's interupting the installation.
Does anybody know how to program this?
I did not find the appropriate class in the API (Series60->Documentation->SDK Help).
Neither did I found anything on the web, but, as I saw, it must be possible.
    Thany for any help!

    Gian

    Hi,

this notices are specified when SIS file is build from .PKG specification. Those text are part of this file. Look on this example:

    I think I have found a solution:

You can show a license agreement during the installation :-)
It's not the same, but should work :-)

therefore the following line has to be added to your .pkg-file:

    "HelloWorldl.txt"-"",FT,TA

More Details can be found in the SDK-Documentation in the chapter:

"How to display a licence agreement during installation"
