Email notification in 7650/3650

Is there any way to notify new emails?
Let me explain:
- a user recives a mail on one of his email accounts
- a server notifies in some manner to the terminal the new mail
- the terminals start the email client and downloads the new mail
I saw that wap push states a PUSH Application ID for email notification (see http://www.wapforum.org/wina/push-app-id.htm) and so I want to know if s60 implements such notification mechanism.

Hi Asif, there is really no point on popping up 6 years old threads. 7650/3650 devices are 1st edition thus the answer is propably not correct for them.
