How to access and filter contacts?

1)how to access contacts?
2)how to filter contacts which have the email address?
3)how to access the name field and the email field?

Hi Alan Yin,

have a look in the documentation at Api Guide/Application Engine/Contacts Model overview and Using Contacts Model and the corresponding chapter in API Reference.
For an example have a look at the contacts synchronizer at
http://www.symbian.com/developer/tec.../contsync.html
at symbian. It will give you a good start to deal with the contacts database.
