Background Applications

Dear all,

I have read all questions concerning the background threads, but I didn't find a real sharp answer, whether it is possible or not on the Nokia 7210 or 6310i.

I triad the command:

display.setcurrent(null)

but it did not drive the phone to the normal opration screen.

If it is possible to run the application in the background, what commands are to be used???

What about Series 40 2nd Edition, is it possible to put a MIDP 2.0 to background and get it to foreground with a timer?
