Please describe the guidelines for using a flashing note

[OSXDev]

Usage

-shows less important information on the screen
-requires no feedback from the user
-appears on the screen and disappears automatically after time-out
-allows for other actions to take place

Attributes

-located in the centre of the screen
-title and 5 lines of text
-note icon in the top left-hand corner
-background and command buttons dims when note appears
