Updating the phonebook

Is it possible to perform an update on selected entries, and selected fields in an entry, in the phonebook with SyncML or do I have to syncronize to whole phonebook?

HI,
I believe the way its currently working it may not do it on selected entries. I have not been able to do it and I tried a lot. I have ended up loosing some contacts.

but why have for example the application "Oxygen Phone Manager" access to the phone book (read/write)?

how is this possible?
