and by using what. I need to transfer the sms to my computer from the mobile phone.

Check if Your phone is supported by the PC Connectivity SDK and the connection method at the Connection Methods web page (http://forum.nokia.com/main/1,6566,1_55_30_20,00.html) or in the documentation (http://forum.nokia.com/main/0,6566,1_55_20,00.html).
There are sample applications installed with the SDK.
Depending on the phone model check out these examples: Messaging, SMS Edit, SMS Settings.
