    I have tried to send a Bootstrap document to Nokia 6220
    but the handsets responses with
    "Failed to save received connection setting "

    Where can I find out the problem? Any log can I reference ?

    Hello,
    you will have to check the logs within the platform you are using to send the settings.

    Check the xml is right.
    Check the generated binary is ok.
    Check the mac code is correctly generated,
    and finally check you are using the same pin as entered in generatind the mac code.

    Do I have to use wap-provisioningdoc to encapsule my xml ?? I found from the provisioning for s40 series, the w5 example doesn't have this tag. It begins with an Application characteristic tag.

    <wap-provisioningdoc>

    </wap-provisioningdoc>
