Cant install NMIT - invalid response during install

When NMIT 4.0 Starter Pack try to contact Nokia during install (to get a registration key), it fails with:

(!) Reading data error

An error occured when reading data from the servlet.

[ OK ]

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is regardless of whether i use a proxy or direct connection and both with and without firewall, so I don't think the problem is in my end.

Do anyone else have this problem, and, do anyone know what to do about it?

Figured out it was just because the installer cant request it (it doesn't work).

Creating a S/N online and typing it in works.
