Framerate with 8*8 tiles (S40)

Hi there,

I've noticed quite a lot of discussion about framerate for a fullscreen tiled BG using 16*16 tiles.

I unfortunately need to use 8*8 tiles, mainly for memory reasons. What sort of framerate should I expect on a 7250i or similar S40 devices. Current tests are somewhat dissapointing.

16*16 test source code is free.
Use it and create your own test.
If you want only differently sized pictures, probably all you need is changing single constant and replacing image files

Could someone please try this for me? Sorry, I'm not being lazy. I'm cant seem to get the code to compile due to the requirement of a FP lib. I'm new to JAVA programming and the toolchain, so not sure how to go about this.

My own tests are fine with 16*16 tiles, but really poor performance with 8*8s which is really what I need. I'd be interested to hear other peoples results, as a sanity check if nothing else.
