Failed to create HelloWorld.dsw file for VC6

Hi there,

Has anyone succeeded in creating HelloWorld.dsw file.
I have WinNT and VC6 installed. However, when I tried to build according to instructions given in Doc, it gave me warning that I had to have SP3 for VC6. And then nothing was created. Trying to install SP3.... Meanwhile, does anyone has any comment or suggestion, I am glad to hear it.

My memory's hazy on this one, but I believe that the VC6 tools have a requirement for a minimum of Service Pack 3 i.e. it's not really a Nokia/Symbian toolset issue.

Hi,

The symbian batch file says that you need SP3 and of course you need to remove this warning and for other purposes. Although in general cases there should be no problem with compiling and running program without SP3.
