I have some issues that I can't get clear from reading documents on the subjects.
I work on creating a plattform for reciving the settings for WAP,MMS on the phone with a sms. I have currently used the OTA specification 7.0 (now 7.1) and this works fine on most devices. I have some questions to the futher regarding this option.
1. Where could I get a whitepaper on 6600(url?)?
2. OMA OTA looks like taking over the function that the 7.0 system uses. Is this a replacing technology or will they be used parallell in the future?
3. What is the correct tech to use. Should I use OMA to configure this phones or should I start use OMA Provisioning?
I would like to have the Nokia 6600 recive the mms settings.
I have not set the right values to my provider yet, as this is just a test to get it to work as a sms
Do I need to have the application part in another place?
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<!DOCTYPE wap-provisioningdoc PUBLIC "-//WAPFORUM//DTD PROV 1.0//EN" "http://www.wapforum.org/DTD/prov.dtd">
Few things: MMS can only be used over GPRS connection and You need to assign an application to access point. I did some modifications to your XML and tested it with success using Nokia 6600.
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<!DOCTYPE wap-provisioningdoc PUBLIC "-//WAPFORUM//DTD PROV 1.0//EN" "http://www.wapforum.org/DTD/prov.dtd">
After recieving the ota settings, if i am trying to update the settings.Nokia 6600 is displaying like "unable to save the settings, i setting saved"
Except MMSURL ( ADDR of the APPLICATION charterstic) it is saving all other parameters.

In the oma document for ADDR, To-PROXY, APPID code page 1 is specified. But in nokia 60 series example it is different
2. Is it complesary to use String table, in my msg i am setting to zero
