Unable to open Picture message on certain Nokia's

I need to send the picture message below to numerous phones. However it cannot be opened on certain models of Nokia. The Nokia 6600 and 3310 cannot open the message, while a 6510 and 7210 don't have any trouble with it.
Is there a limit to the width of the picture or something?? Because when I send a smaller picture(16x16) everything is fine.

Some info on the picture I am trying to send:
- dimension 72 x 14 pictures
- picture data excluding headers is 126 octets
- complete length including headers is 134 octets

Does anyone know why this message cannot be opened on some of Nokia's models?

The phones I am sending the picture message DO SUPPORT picture messaging, as the Nokia Phone Messaging Characteristics document confirms.
When sending smaller sized pictures, like 16x16, they don't complain 'unsupported message format'.

How come they cannot open a message containing a 72x14 picture??
Is there a limit to the width of the picture?
Is there something wrong with my message(which doesn't give me any trouble on a 6510, 7210, 6310)?
Is there a bug in some phones??

It turns out some phones like 7210 are not bothered by a color depth of 0, but other phones like 6600 regard such a message as invalid, and need color depth > 0.
