SMS and Datagrams

I doubt this was done in this way.. So take this as a suggestion
would it be possible for Nokia to implement datagram support via SMS, possibly through the use of NBS. This way the user would not necessarily have to make a data call to gain network access in low-bandwidth apps.

A lot of conectionless work was done for WAP, and I was/am hoping that work carries over.

GPRS and 3G, are the future for wireless devices. There is work in this
area check out JSR 120 .
