What is the different between WAP Push message and WAP push SI(Service Inbox) ?

Dear All,

I have just been start in Nokia SMS. I confuse about WAP Push message and WAP Push SI(Service Inbox).

The WAP Push SI(Service Inbox) that I understand is message that will save to service inbox then user can retrive from that URL like bookmark.

Another, WAP Push that will use in Right in DRM Seperate Deliver.

Can anyone tell me about this.

Hi!

In the high level the WAP push SI (Service Indication) message (the one you described in your post) is a multipart message which consist of PAP part, and SI part.

With OMA DRM separate delivery rights push the SI part of the message is replaced with the content of the rights object file. Also the MIME type of the push message is changed from 'text/vnd.wap.si' to 'application/vnd.oma.drm.rights+xml'

Can you help me out in my sending drc file as wap push
I used Nokia NMIT to generate the dcf drc and dr files.
I am not able to send this as a content wap push.

I am using nokia 6630 as my test handset
I have changed the content type to wbxml+rights
I have tried this hax

Could you please tell me that can I download drc file by giving direct link (I do not care for 'Should' thing in OMA)
Actually I am not able to do that also.
In case of dr Handset is showing xml
and with drc it is showing 'file format not supported'

Sending the wap push of dr/drc file
pls download trial version of the gateway from
http://www.nowsms.com/downloads/smsmmsgateway.htm

setup the gateway using some gsm modem/ supported handset(which ever can act as gsm modem like K700i)

now use 'send xml settings' to send the dr file to the desired msisdn(MOBILE NO)

if you do not want to purchase the gateway,
use some tricks
u can do this with out using this also ;-)
