Hi Guys

I was hoping to develop an application,for the 7650, that would learn the codes from a number of remote controls and allow me turn my 7650 into a universal remote control. However, i have heard that the Infra Red capability on the 7650 is not too powerful. Is this correct? What is the maximum distance the Infra Red Signal from a 7650 will travel?

Hi swahmed!

The distance for IR isn't too much, but why wouldn't you use bluetooth for the remote control? The distance would increase to 10 meters and BT is much faster than IR.
