apart from decreasing the jar size, does obfuscating your code save memory on the 6310?

my past experience on the sl45i showed that obfuscating saved quite a considerably amount of heap space, but, on the 6310i (emulator) obfuscating the code seems to make little (if any) difference at all.

just a stab in the dark, but does the 6310 store the code in a seperate area of mem. (not in the heap like the sl45)

this would explain why obfuscated code seems to make no difference to available heap.
