Please wait screen

Hi,

as my app takes a little bit of time to load data in some parts I'd like to show a "please wait"-screen during loading. I guess this only qorks with threads? Can someone priovide me a sample how to implement a please wait screen?

Here's what I use.

Form waitForm = new Form("Waiting...");
Thread waitFormThread = new Thread() {
  public void run() {
    // do the things you've got to do here.
    // in your case, load data

    // when you finish go to the form you want to show after loading data (or whatever you want to do with it)
    display.setCurrent(nextScreen);
  }
};
display.setCurrent(waitForm);
waitFormThread.start();
