socket example

i am not able to run the socket example. it always gives the error -34 or -33 can somebody tell me the solution

Hi all,
i've a problem with the example Socket in the emulator.I build the application in a right way but when i try to connect by the application in the emulator it doesn't work.
The message displayed is Comms error -33
<CsocketsEngine>
Timed out

The data in input are the Ip number of a web server that i can reach by telnet and the port.
Could someone explain me why the connection is refused and how correct this situation?
