We are using the NCP2 in a WinCE device but have found it to be particularly 'power hungry'. I would like to be able to issue the appropriate commands from with an application that would power down and power up the device as required. Dow anyone know how this is done?

    Hi,

It is possible to power down Nokia Card Phone 2.0 with proper application, for e.g. this is possible by disconnecting the power supply to the PCMCIA-slot. However if you power down the phone, when restarting the phone you propably need also to restart the Nokia Card Phone software as you need to configure the phone for usage again. Also when phone is powered down, you will not be able to receive phone calls or SMS and possible data connection is disconnected when Nokia Card Phone 2.0 is powered down.

    Best regards,
