Series 60 Emulator SMS issues

Am I missing something trivial, or is it the Beta-nature of the emulator ? It seems to me the below should be possible, but I can not figure out how by just reading the docs.

First, is there an application in the 7650 emulator for viewing & editing SMS messages ?

Furthermore, is it (should it be ?) possible to send SMS messages from the emulator using an IrDA connection from the PC to a mobile phone ?

Hi Niklas,

Currently, the Messaging application, for the N7650 emulator is not included in the Series 60 SDK. Therefore, you cannot view or edit SMS messages in the emulator. It is not possible to send/receive SMS messages from the emulator either, even if the Messaging application is provided in the SDK.
