MIDlet Icons

Hi,

I have created an J2ME application with a PNG image I use as my icon. When I install the application on my 6600 I see the image in the menu view. When I start the application the image does not appear in the top left hand corner, all I see is the standard nokia "jigsaw piece" image.

Can someone tell me how I can get my image to display instead of this standard image?

i have the complete same problem. copied prog on nokia 6600, with image, but does not appear when prog runs??

Hi,
Have you made the respective changes of Icon in your Jad?

What is the size of the image of your icon?
max it can be 42 * 29 on series 60 Phones.

Hey guys,

Actually I was able to figure out my problem I simply renamed my image to be the same as the MIDlet name. When I did this it worked. It appears that the icon will appear on the menu view but it will only appear in the top left corner if the image name is the same as the midlet. Strange one!! Does anyone know why?
