CAN AT COMMANDS HELP ME TO SEND SMS FROM A PC VIA A NOKIA MOBILE CONN TO PC.CAN THESE AT COMMANDS BE USED IN ANY OTHER PROG LANG LIKE JAVA OR VB,ETC.DOES ANY PROG LANG PROVIDE DIRECT COMMANDS TO SEND AND RETRIEVS SMS FROM A FONE TO A PC.DOES NOKIA PROVIDE ANY SUCH SOFTWARE KITS TO DO THE ABOVE TASKS.OR IS IT POSS TO USE THE PART OF THE SOURCE CODE IN NOKIA PC SUITE TAT SENS SMS(IF LEGAL).

YES, it is possible to use AT commands to send SMS via a Nokia mobile connected to a PC.

YES, AT commands can be used in languages like Java and VB.

NO, I don't know of a programming language that has built-in support for controlling mobile phones.

YES, Nokia provides a software kit for this and many other tasks, it is called "PC Connectivity SDK".
Technically the SDK it's the same as the PC Suite, but it supports a wider range of phones.

YES, You can use the samples in the PC Suite or SDK as you need them.
