Hello,
I'm looking for local partners to better market my new application: PocketMetro 2.0 (PM2). PM2 is a travel guide for MIDP phones: it enables the user to find the shortest path between two stations of a public transportation network. For now, it supports the London and Paris tube networks: you can download a trial version from Handango (http://www.handango.com//PlatformTop...uthorId=729984) or buy the complete version from my company's website: http://www.clocklabs.com/.
I'm looking for people interested in adapting this application to their own country. This would include:
-- creating network maps (relatively easy since I've already done lots of preliminary work for many cities in the world),
-- checking that the roadmaps returned by the application are sensible relative to the local customs,
-- translating the website in their own language (if needed),
-- translating the application in their own language,
-- and of course bring new ideas to develop and market PM2 worldwide.
Since the application is quite complete, programming experience is definitely not required.
Partners would get a large size of the profits made on each sale of the version they contributed, and also a piece of the profit made on all sales.
This is not a job offer: I cannot guarantee any serious "return on investment". This is the perfect opportunity for someone to make some money on the side, and maybe to get acquainted with the business side of the J2ME industry. If you're interested in working with me on PM2, drop me an email at partners@clocklabs.com.
Best Regards,
David
