setMediaTime and PlayerListener probs

Can anyone help with the following problems

two problems playing midi files on Nokia S40_DP20_SDK_1_0

1. my PlayerListener does not get STOPPED event after Player.stop() has been called

2. calling player.setMediatime(0) after player.stop() causes that the media cannot be restarted with player.start()

on nokia 6600 the following problem :

no END_OF_MEDIA event is received at the end of the media only phone hangs.

Needless to say none of these problems occur in the sun WTK21

could u please discuss what u want to achieve using these commands..as it would help me understand what u want to implement..!!
