Security code issue for 6230

Anybody encountered this issue whereby the phone will reject the correct security code. But if the same codes are entered again at a later time the hp will accept it.
Firmware to experience this issue : 3.17
can anyone confirm if the latest firmware resolved this issue? thanks

I have v3.15 and am experiencing it. Happened right after pulling out the battery without shutting down.
