well, there is FM Radio also in Siemens SX1 phone. And in Siemens's Series60 SDK is an open API and even some example...
Question really is, if it will work also with Nokia's phones...
But if you have time, give it a try and let us know about the results...
Thanx, sopta007. That exactly what I wondered.
Well, I just downloaded SDK from Siemens and going to take a look. But anyway the final problem is that 6260 is not yet available...
Nokia 6620 is based on S60 2.0 FP1, not the S60 SDK 2.0:
"Series 60 SDK 2.1 for Symbian OS enables C++ application development for the Series 60 Developer Platform 2.0 devices, such as the Nokia 6620 and Nokia 7610, which are based the Series 60 2.1 software."
The "Series 60 Platform 2nd Edition Feature Pack 1: What's New - Lead Features And APIs v1.0 " mention both Feature Packs and device specific features. The Feature Pack 1 does support Nokia 6620, but does not support "Stereo FM radio" as such SDK S60 FP1 does not support APIs to access the Stereo FM radio. There is no any radio in 7610 which is S60 2.0 FP1 too...
The Nokia 6620 device itself support the radio, but has no separate SDK with additional APIs.
